Strengthening its Position in 2024, Nuon Boosts Indonesia’s Digital Entertainment Ecosystem

Jakarta, September 26, 2024 – Nuon Digital Indonesia (Nuon), a leading digital content lifestyle and entertainment company, continues to strengthen its position within Indonesia’s digital entertainment industry. Entering the second half of 2024, Nuon has achieved significant milestones and is committed to delivering relevant, high-quality digital products to meet the public’s demand for digital entertainment. Numerous innovations and strategic collaborations throughout the year have further solidified Indonesia’s digital entertainment business ecosystem.

Contribution to the Local Gaming Industry and Global Collaborations

In the gaming sector, Nuon, through Nuon Games, continues to drive advancements in the local gaming industry. One strategic initiative includes partnerships with local developers, Digital Happiness and Agate, publishing the horror game DreadHaunt, a survival horror game available on STEAM, with upcoming releases on Xbox and PlayStation.

Additionally, Nuon has partnered with Tencent Games through Level Infinite, serving as the official digital partner for Honor of Kings (HoK) in Indonesia. As a partner, Nuon provides full support in marketing campaigns, including featuring HoK at various music festivals and hosting office attack tournaments across the Telkom Group.

Commitment to Music and Film Industry

Nuon is also making a substantial impact in the music industry. Together with the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, Nuon launched the Top 10 Chart Langit Musik on the weekly program The Weekly Brief With Sandi Uno (WBSU). This Top 10 chart aims to give a platform for talented local musicians to foster a creative environment and expand both nationally and internationally.

This year, Nuon will once again host the prestigious Indonesian Music Awards. In its fourth year, Nuon, through Langit Musik and its “Musik Indonesia Juara” vision, will honor Indonesian musicians with awards across 16 categories, including Song of The Year, RNada Sambung Pribadi of The Year, Langit Musik Lifetime Achievement, Breakthrough Artist of The Year, Langitku Artist of The Year, and other various categories.

In the film sector, Nuon has partnered with Paragon Pictures to produce Indonesia’s first exorcism horror movie titled Kuasa Gelap, set to premiere on October 3, 2024. Additionally, another horror film titled Anak Kunti will be released later this year.

Beyond film production, Nuon’s ticketing platform, Tiketapasaja.com, has successfully sold over 193,000 tickets for various national and international events, setting a record with 6.5 concurrent hits on some of these occasions.
